Web Hosting With myhosting.com
Posted by Lee Stevens | Filed under Web Hosting
One major factor that can kill an SEO campaign overnight is your web hosting company and your hosting package with that company.
One of the very best web hosting companies that I have come across in all my days online is myhosting.com. If I were to recommend one hosting company to any of my clients, it would them.
There are dozens of reasons why myhosting.com is the best choice for your web hosting needs. Then, there is one reason why they are not your best choice and you should choose HostMonster as your web host. I will list each of them below.
Why you should choose myhosting.com as your web host
- You will receive a free domain name for life with any hosting package.
- You have plenty of disk space to grow your website over time.
- They keep their servers updated with the latest applications and programs.
- They are quick to add any new technologies to their servers.
- One click install of WordPress and other blogging / content management platforms.
- World class support! 24/7 in-house email, chat, and phone support. No outsourcing! You can talk with someone who speaks English fluently.
- Close to 100% up time so your personal website or business website is always accessible by your visitors.
- 30-day money back guarantee! If you aren’t just thrilled with the service, you can get your money back within 30 days.
- $6.45 per month is dirt cheap for such an amazing web hosting provider.
Why you shouldn’t choose myhositng.com as your web host
- You can only host one domain per web hosting package. If you are planning on hosting more websites than one, myhosting.com isn’t going to be your best bet for a web hosting company. You will want to choose a hosting provider like HostMonster who offers unlimited domains on one hosting account.
If you are planning on only building and growing one website, you need to host your website with myhosting.com. You will not find better web hosting or customer service online.

Web Design – Resveratrol Weightloss Secrets
Posted by Lee Stevens | Filed under Utah Designs, Web Design
This site was pretty easy to design, but since it is a lead generation website, we had to take strict caution on how we coded the content and where to place certain aspects of the site.
It took a few different web designs to nail it right on the head. We did some pretty heavy split testing to see which pages converted the best and found a good design that is making John a ton of money right now.
If you want a lead gen website built, let us know. We think we do pretty good!

Web Design – AffordableTungstenRings.com
Posted by Greg Williams | Filed under Utah Designs, Web Design
This was a really fun project! We built this website for a friend of ours who wants to get into the tungsten ring business. Because our friend was located in Utah, we was searching for a Utah website design company and found us on the first page of Google. He didn’t even know this was us at first!
Long story short, he loves his design and is already ranking well in the search engines for some of his main keywords.

Website Design Basics – Overcoming Communication Barriers With Your Designer
Posted by Greg Williams | Filed under Web Design
Now that you have selected an individual or company to do your website design, the thing you need to work on now is how to communicate properly with your designer.
Effective communication is important especially when you outsource your website design needs. It’s not even an issue of language barrier because a lot of freelancers today have become really good at the English language. The communication barrier you need to get over is relaying what you want for your website.
This can be one of the most difficult parts of creating a website because you and your website designer need to come to terms with how you want the site to be made. You need to find a common ground.
You need to find a way on how you can get your ideas across. If you do this effectively, your person will be able to come up with a very good website design—not just any website.
It’s hard enough to describe your vision to someone you are talking with in person, it is more difficult to describe it to someone you are dealing with remotely. This is where you can really get frustrated. And if you have a short temper, you can be jeopardizing your project already.
No matter how good your website designer is if you are not able to paint the picture vividly in his mind, you will not have the result you are gunning for.
It may prove to be very difficult putting your instructions on an email and expect him to get it instantly. It doesn’t really work that way. Again, painting the exact picture you have in mind in the brain of another person is really hard. You may not even be close enough to getting the result you want.
The best way to deal with this is to let your website designer have it his way. I am not saying you should let him take the reins. You are still the boss and what you want matters. All I am saying is that leave the technical aspect to him. He is an expert, anyway. You have to trust his skills.
What you can do is tell him what the nature of your site is. Tell him what you envision for your site, what your goals are. Relay to him your vision and mission. If you have some specific content and photos you want to use, give it to him. He will get the idea.
You can show him a certain website design that inspired you. He can use this as a basis for his work. As long as you have laid the foundation of the project, his brain will immediately start working.

LinkVana – High Quality Links… Fast!
Posted by Lee Stevens | Filed under SEO, SEO Tools
LinkVana is a tool that I have been testing for the last two months and so far, it is the SEO link building tool of the century! That might be a little dramatic, but, this tool flat out rocks!
To summarize the service, it is a mini blog post submission service that takes your 100 + word blog posts and sends them out to their privately owned network of blogs. Here are the the benefits of LinkVana right from their website:
- High quality 1 way backlinks
- 100% permanent links (we will never take them down)
- Time released (natural) post frequency with multiple options
- Automation options to schedule your posting
- 100% Content relative blog links
- Different class C links
- Healthy PageRank (from PR2 to PR5)
- Old Domains – All of our blogs have domain age (no new sites)
If you ask me and just about any SEO, each of these characteristics make the perfect backlink. You add a few hundred of these unique links, you are definitely going to see increases in your search engine rankings.
As with Unique Article Wizard, this is a tool that I personally use on my own websites as well as my clients websites to help them achieve top placement in the search engines. This tool is highly recommended by me and our entire Utah web design firm for those people or companies who prefer to do SEO by theirselves.
Because of our relationship with LinkVana, they are allowing us to pitch to our visitors a FREE trial where they will write 25 mini blog posts for you and you submit them with links back to your website. People… That is EXTREME value! Even if you quit the service, those backlinks are permanant and will help your rankings greatly!
I guarantee that you love the service so much and that it makes a huge difference in your search engine rankings that you will stick with the service for a very long time. The service is $147 each month, but you will easily get two to three times the value out of it!

Unique Article Wizard – SEO Link Building Heaven!
Posted by Lee Stevens | Filed under SEO, SEO Tools, Utah SEO
I love SEO! I love performing SEO for clients and I love teaching SEO for those who don’t have the budget to pay an SEO company for their services.
One thing I HATE about traditional SEO firms is the fact that they aren’t willing to disclose their “link building” or other SEO secrets. I am 100% opposed to that because I realize that those individuals or companies who can afford SEO services will pay someone to do it because they don’t want to do it themselves. Those who are super cheap and frugal or don’t have the budget for SEO will ultimately do it themselves. I will not be losing a customer by showing them tools or secrets because they wouldn’t have given me the opportunity to perform SEO for them in the first place.
One of the greatest tools that I have found to assist me with SEO for our clients is called Unique Article Wizard. Unique Article Wizard is an article distribution service that takes articles that you create, spin them, and mass submit hundreds of “unique” pieces of content to blogs and article sites all over the internet. Anyone who knows anything about SEO understands that links pointing back to your website is 90% of what helps you get ranked in the search engines. In less than one hour, you can submit an article and have hundreds of backlinks pointing to your website, increasing your link volume, and increasing your rankings.
I have used this service for almost a year and a half. It is $67 per month, but the value and rankings that you receive by using it all month will easily be more than the price you are paying for the service. I recommend this tool to anyone looking to perform SEO for themselves. It saves time and works like nothing I have ever used in my career.

Web Design – Web Vizion
Posted by Greg Williams | Filed under Utah Designs, Web Design
This website design was created for a Utah web design / all around marketing firm. This was kind of a weird project since it is a split off of our company, The Web Design Guyz. One of our experienced web designers decided that he wanted to start doing web design on his own. So, we all pitched in and built this site for him adding each of our own personal touches.

The Almighty Google Wave
Posted by Greg Williams | Filed under Google
Google Wave is one of the most talked about subjects in the internet world today. Their plan is to create an email environment that we invent today rather than just improving the old technology. It sounds nice and pretty, but what does it really mean? Well according to Google, their plan is to completely phase out old email technology such as send, process receive, process, forward, etc. They would like to put all email conversations in the cloud. What does this mean for you? Essentially you will be able to go to any computer i.e. a kiosk in an airport, and be able to continue an entire email thread you had just been working on in your office and your recipient will be none the wiser. With the release of Google’s OS in the near future, and their break through technologies in voice and chat, it was only a matter of time until they brought something into play like this. Keep your eyes open for what Google is going to throw out next because they are going to hit bigger than they ever have before, buy Google stock!
