Their plan is to create an email environment that we invent today rather than just improving the old technology. It sounds nice and pretty, but what does it really mean? Well according to Google, their plan is to completely phase out old email technology such as send, process receive, process, forward, etc. They would like to put all email conversations in the cloud. What does this mean for you? Essentially you will be able to go to any computer i.e. a kiosk in an airport, and be able to continue an entire email thread you had just been working on in your office and your recipient will be none the wiser. With the release of Google’s OS in the near future, and their break through technologies in voice and chat, it was only a matter of time until they brought something into play like this. Keep your eyes open for what Google is going to throw out next because they are going to hit bigger than they ever have before, buy Google stock!
